Jessica J. Rueb, M.D., URPS

Meet Jessica J. Rueb, M.D., URPS

Double Board-Certified Urologist & Urogynecologist | Surgeon | Educator | Researcher

Dr. Jessica J. Rueb is not your average specialist — she’s a double board-certified Urologist and Urogynecologist with a passion for advancing women’s pelvic health. After earning her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, she trained in urology at the University of Virginia, followed by a highly specialized fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic.

What She Treats: Dr. Rueb combines surgical precision with compassionate care, offering both surgical and non-surgical treatment for:

  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Overactive bladder
  • Stress & urge urinary incontinence
  • Urinary fistulas
  • Urethral diverticula
  • Genitourinary reconstruction
  • Neurogenic bladder

She is the only physician in the midlands who performs and interprets video urodynamics, an advanced bladder testing technique that aids in diagnosis of complex bladder conditions and defines the safety of the bladder. She is on the cutting edge of therapies like sacral neuromodulation — helping patients regain control, dignity, and quality of life.

A Leader in Her Field:

An award-winning educator, Dr. Rueb trains residents and other surgeons using innovative techniques like Mend-it and leads clinical education through surgical videos and peer-to-peer training.

She’s also a primary investigator in multiple clinical studies on pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence — with a keen focus on improving long-term outcomes through research and innovation.

Outside the OR:

When she’s not helping patients or advancing the field, Dr. Rueb recharges with her husband, two young children, and her sweet chocolate lab. Her favorite escapes include fly fishing, hiking, skiing, and HIIT workouts — proving she brings energy and focus to everything she does.
